About Gabrielle Leonhard

Gabrielle Leonhard is the President of The Gabrielle Collection of Wines. As a vineyard owner of Napa valley, she is actively involved with the wine community. She practices sustainable farming practices (organic and biodynamic) and was recognized by the Napa Valley Vintners in their Women in Wine Sustainable Winemaking Calendar (2006). Since 2001, she has served on the board of Women for WineSense, the premier wine education organization for women in the US and became the national Board President in 2005. In addition, Gabrielle has been a wine judge at the Mendocino Fair Wine Competition and the first National Women’s Wine Competition.

The Gabrielle Collection is focused on producing small boutique lots of Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley and a proprietary red blend from the North Coast.

Prior to The Gabrielle Collection, Gabrielle was the founder of The Corporate Incubator, a program to launch entrepreneurial ventures. She stared her career as founder and president of Living Interiors, an interior landscape company that specialized in corporate atriums of rare tropical exotic plants and gardens in atriums, airports and high rise projects.

Other interests include California Olive Oil. She is authoring a book on the producers California of olive oil and is founder of the Mission Olive Preservation, Restoration and Education Project to preserve the heritage and groves of the historic California Olive trees. She founded the Olive Oil Culinary Guild for sensory training of chefs in olive oil cooking applications.
